Christopher Eccleston interpreterà Malekith il Maledetto, Signore degli Elfi Oscuri di Svartalfheim, in Thor – The Dark World. Eccleston è noto per aver interpretato il Nono Dottore in Doctor Who e Destro in G.I. Joe – La nascita dei Cobra.
Diretto da Alan Taylor (The Game of Thrones) per i Marvel Studios, Thor – The Dark World vede nel cast anche Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, Tom Hiddleston, Jaimie Alexander, Idris Elba, Zachary Levi e Stellan Skarsgard ed uscirà l’8 novembre del 2013.
